We are almost done with our animal reports. The at home assignment is due Monday.
If your child misplaced the information, see below. Also you are invited to come in and see the children present. They will be in the computer lab presenting Wednesday morning from 9-10, and again in our classroom on Thursday afternoon from 1-2:30, and 3-3:30. I'll try to take pictures while they present and put them on the blog so you can enjoy it that way if you can't make it in. Have a wonderful Easter!

Directions: Complete one of the projects below. Put a check mark by the project you have completed. The project will be done at home. They will be graded on accurate information, personal best, correct spelling, capitalization, punctuation, creativity and quality. Good luck!
_________ 1. Design and make a puppet of your animal. This could be made of paper mache, sock, clay, paper, fabric, etc.
_________ 2. Design a crossword puzzle or word search with at least 10 questions and answers telling interesting facts about your animal or 10 words if it’s a word search. Make your crossword on graph paper or paper like it. Be sure to supply an answer key.
_________ 3. Make a dictionary booklet using at least ten vocabulary terms related to your animal and its behavior. Your dictionary must be in “dictionary” format (ABC order, bold words, etc.), include at least 10 terms/definitions and some illustrations.
_________ 4. Write a poem, fable or story about your animal. Include at least 5 interesting facts about your animal. The poem must be at least 10 lines long. The fable or story needs to have a beginning, middle and end and be at least 1 page long without skipping lines. Include an illustration.
_________ 5. Make prints of your animal’s tracks. Compare your animal’s tracks with 2 other Michigan animals. Use vegetable prints, clay, plaster, Styrofoam, etc.
_________ 6. Create a diorama showing the habitat of your animal. Use a shoe box and real or fake materials to create your habitat.
