Here are a few pictures from our assembly today. We learned some great history and dances from a Native American. This ties in well with our social studies history of Michigan!

Channel 8 Came Today!
It was so exciting meeting Wyatt and his family today. I have been informed that we will be on the 5 o'clock news tonight-Channel 8. Watch for us:) Again a huge thank you to all of you that helped by donating money and or pop cans. You are all amazing!

Field trips. Howard Christensen Nature Center-Thursday,
April 16th 9 a.m.-2 p.m. $5
per person
Lansing-Wednesday,
May 13th *Buses will leave before school approximately 7:30 a.m. and
return at approximately 4 p.m. $12 per
student and $4 per adult.

Valentine’s party is Friday, February 13th
2:30-3:30. Please see the note from our
wonderful room moms below. We will be
decorating bags to collect our goodies in and the children are just signing
their names to say who the Valentine is from.
We are not addressing who it is to because it is much quicker to pass
them out this way. Thanks!

Monday, February 9th. WOOD tv 8 will be here to see our
presentation of the amount raised to Wyatt and his family. When I know details of when it will air I
will let you all know. If you still
would like to donate cans or money feel free to send them in by tomorrow. Thank you for all of your contributions!!!

No school for mid-winter break February 16th-17th.

Our Valentine's party is quickly approaching and we are still in
need of several items and parent volunteers to make this a success.
