A Few Things...

1.        I hope to see everyone tonight at the “Art Extravaganza” from 5-7 p.m.

2.       Due to our busy day of presenting our animal reports, we didn’t get today’s math lesson done, so no homework tonight.  I will change this on the blog. 

3.       The children did an AMAZING JOB TODAY!  If you would like to see your child’s PREZI animal report, you can go on and check it out at home.

This Week...

1.  Colors to wear to prepare for our Art Extravaganza this week.

Tuesday~ Orange

Wednesday~ Yellow

Thursday~ Green

Friday~ Blue or Purple

 

2.       AR store tomorrow.

3.       Animal report presentations on Tuesday, May 5^th.  The only thing the children need to do at home is  a choice activity.  They may choose a word search, crossword, diorama, animal tracks, clay model, sock puppet, dictionary booklet, poem, etc…  We will present in the computer lab on the 5^th starting at 12:30 p.m. if you would like to come in and check out our presentations.

Howard Christansen Nature Center

We had so much fun learning about the many different things in nature.  A huge thank you to all of the parents that went with us.  I hope you had as much fun as I did:)

Field Trip Tomorrow

Just a few reminders about our field trip tomorrow to the nature center.

 

·         We leave at 9 a.m. 

·         Dress for the weather, we will be going rain or shineJ

·         Remember a sack lunch.  If you don’t have a sack I have extras here at school that you can use.

·         If your child would like a snack have them write their name on it and I will carry them separately in a bag.

·         We will be back by 2 p.m.

A Few Things...

Hello Families!  Happy Spring!!!  We have been so busy learning new and exciting things here in third grade.  I want to thank all of you for being wonderful parents and so supportive.  I feel very blessed to have the privilege to work with such fantastic kids and caring families.  Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or comments.

 

Dates to remember:

Tomorrow  Spring pictures.  You don’t need to order ahead of time, you can look at the picture first and decide if you would like to order after.

 April 1^st:  Book orders due.

 April 2nd:  Last day of school before Spring Break. 

April 3rd-April 12th:  Spring Break.  I hope you all enjoy a wonderful and relaxing weekJ

April 13th:  School resumes-Late start!  School begins at 10:40.

April 16th:  Field trip to Howard Christensen Nature Center.  We will be leaving at 9 a.m. and returning around 2 p.m.

This Week

Tuesday the 3rd-Book Fair.  This goes all week, but our class will be visiting during our library time at 10:50-11:20.

Wednesday the 4th- Evening conferences.  They are optional and only 5 minutes.  Just a heads up that we will not have child care available.

Thursday the 5th-Spelling test and last day of our week together.

Friday the 6th-No school, enjoy your weekend!
