Busy Week Ahead!

Today is report card day. If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to contact me. Just a reminder that conferences are this week! I look forward to meeting with all of you. If you are unable to make your time please contact me and we can set up another time. Due to conferences, I will not be sending home a weekly report.
Language Arts: We read a story in our anthology about a dwarf named Jamie. We talked about how important it is to accept others and embrace differences. The children also continued working on revising and editing. This is still very difficult but I am seeing an improvement.

Math: We are just coming to the end of unit 7. There will be a review sheet coming home for homework on Wednesday night to prepare for our test on Thursday.
Science: The children are finishing their unit on light and sound and we will quickly be moving on to living organisms. This will be our last science unit for the year.
Social Studies: We have finished learning about the history of Michigan from early exploration to statehood. It was so exciting visiting Lansing. The children did such a wonderful job and we learned so much!
